Description

The factory kit that mounts the spare wheel on the bonnet: a dished carrier plate riveted to the bonnet skin with a central lock post and clamps, a bonnet staple and strap, and (on 90/110 and Defender) a solid bonnet prop to hold the extra weight. Land Rover built bonnets with the mount from the factory (ALR6107) and sold retrofit kits (STC7633 for the 300Tdi bonnet) needing three drilled holes.

Series and 90/110/Defender bonnets; Wolf has it as standard.

Rarity. A factory option on every Series and Ninety/One Ten/Defender, standard on military vehicles and station wagons; the pressed dish, staple and strap are all still supplied.
