Description
The pair of short 3 mm steel channel bumper stubs bolted to the ends of the straight military (airportable) rear crossmember of Series 109s and Lightweights, protecting the rear corners and, on later types, carrying two eyes on the inside face that serve as lifting and towing points. The Defender-era pattern (RRC2970/2971) does the same job on the 90, 110 and Wolf; the game's 'bumperettes' component models the Series front pattern.
Series pattern needs the military crossmember; Defender pattern RRC2970/71
Rarity. Fitted to every British military Series II, IIA, III 109 and Lightweight with the straight military crossmember, and in Defender pattern to the 90/110/Wolf; still reproduced by several UK fabricators.
