The record

Chassis 95600024A was delivered to RAF Uxbridge in November 1974 for the 1975 Joint Services West–East Sahara Expedition. It brought up the rear of the convoy. David Olliver restored the vehicle and donated it to Dunsfold in 2016 with its powered trailer. This model follows the museum photograph: raised windscreen, cab doors and rolled-up canvas, dark green panels and outlined Africa door markings. It retains the requested service registration 76 FL 66; the restored photograph displays its later TEC 101 registration. The original desert photographs show the convoy running without windscreens or canvas and are not the configuration represented here. Trailer proportions and unseen details are approximations based on Dunsfold and a close photograph of a Rubery Owen prototype; the trailer is a visual attachment, not an independently articulated physics vehicle.
