Description
The General Dynamics installation kit that put the Bowman HF/VHF/UHF radio suite into a Wolf 110 FFR: a radio table with legs and side brackets across the rear body, equipment trays and mounting brackets, an AMU (antenna matching unit) cover plate, antenna-base vehicle mountings, RF-equipment covers, water-bladder and hydration-sack stowage trays and the wiring. Bowman's weight is why the Wolf 90 FFR was largely sold off while the 110 stayed; Projects Hermes and Shoehorn (anti-roll bars raising payload 150 kg to 3,500 kg on 3,500 Wolfs) were the DPA contracts that made the fit possible.
Wolf 110 TUM HS FFR primarily; 90 TUL FFR fleet reduced because Bowman was too heavy
Rarity. Fitted across the Wolf FFR fleet (Project Hermes alone up-rated 1,079 soft-top Wolfs to FFR for Bowman from 2006); trays, brackets, antenna bases and radio tables are sold individually by LR Series at GBP 5-150.
Record: 5 sources; designation recorded; no price recorded.
