Description
The garnished nylon net lashed over a parked Land Rover to break up its outline, carried rolled on the bonnet or in the rear body: 4.5 m square panels of 75 mm mesh with polyurethane-coated garnish (two-thirds green, one-third brown, reversible) laced together along two edges to cover a vehicle, held off the body on bendy fibreglass poles with plastic mushroom spreader bosses so the poles do not pierce the mesh, ground stakes and toggle ties.
Carried rolled on the bonnet or in the load bed; two or more panels laced together for a 109 or 110
Rarity. Issued to every vehicle in the field army for decades; nets, poles, spreaders and stakes are sold by the crate at surplus dealers.
