Description
Vacuum pump with sanitary trap and silencer on a base plate bolted by four bolts to the front bumper, driven from the front of the crankshaft through a starting-handle dog, dog clutch, propshaft and countershaft pulley (the same crankshaft power linkage used by the capstan winch). It runs at 1,400 rpm with the engine on fast idle and supplies vacuum for bucket milkers at shows or in the field, small milking bails, slurry tank emptying and vacuum shearing.
