Description
The general-service pioneer set of a shovel, a pick with separate head and helve, and an axe, stowed on the vehicle in spring-clip and staple brackets: on the Wolf TUM the shovel lies on the bonnet to the right of the spare wheel and the pick head on the rear of the left wing with the helve alongside; on Lightweights the shovel and pick strapped across the tailgate in J-brackets; on Perenties on purpose-made wing brackets.
Bracket positions differ by model
Rarity. Carried by every British military Land Rover from the Series to the Wolf; brackets are still listed as Land Rover parts and ex-MoD tools sell on eBay and at surplus dealers.
