Serena Davies, Tamsin Davies and Adam Whitaker received the Land Rover and Royal Geographical Society Go Beyond bursary. Their Defender 110, registration VX10 DGV, carried a British Geological Survey seismometer and filmmaking equipment. This model depicts the July 2010 collection configuration, before temporary expedition luggage was loaded. The team documented life around active fault lines. Iran was a planned destination, not the nationality of the operating team.
The team’s photographs show a silver Puma station wagon with matching wheel arches, white steel wheels, black recovery A-bar, winch, raised intake, guarded lamps and rear glazing, four front rack lights, a roof spare and an orange-marked covered rear spare. Small sponsor artwork is simplified. The exact conversion workshop and engine specification are not independently established.
