Description
Eight-blade soil mill with adjustable grading screen that shreds turf, peat, loam and bulb fibre at 2½-3 cu yd an hour and mixes in fertiliser, ejecting stones at the rear. The Mark 2R stands on the ground and is flat-belt driven from the rear PTO pulley; the Mark 3R hangs on the three-point linkage with a Hardy Spicer shaft straight from the rear PTO. The same leaflet's Acre Mark 4R rotary tiller is a land-driven linkage implement, not PTO-driven.
Rarity. Nursery and parks-department machine from a 1961 approved-implement leaflet; the maker claimed hundreds of users but no Land Rover-mounted example was found for sale in this research.
Record: 2 sources; designation recorded; no price recorded.
