The record
The inaugural G4 Challenge used Defender 110 County Station Wagons for its South African competition stage, with Defenders also serving logistics roles. Of 31 prepared, 29 took part.
This model follows the surviving BP52 GJE and the event equipment specification: a Safety Devices rack, four roof lamps, Mantec raised intake, window protection and winch bumper, Warn winch, underbody guards and rear ladder. The rack is shown without later camping equipment. Hidden interior storage is simplified; gameplay handling values are not historical specifications. Exact preparation location and operating-country assignment remain unconfirmed.
